Replicate Secured Objects to the Exchange Directory

You can replicate secured Active Directory objects to the Exchange directory. Secured Active Directory objects are Active Directory objects that contain an explicit Deny Access Control Entry (ACE). By default, secured Active Directory objects are not replicated to the Exchange directory because Deny permissions are not represented for objects in the Exchange directory.

To replicate secured objects to the Exchange directory:

  1. On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Connector.
  2. In the details pane, double-click the Connection Agreement for which you want to select replication objects.
  3. On the From Windows tab, select the Replicate secured Active Directory objects to the Exchange directory check box.
