Understanding Default Policies

When replicating directory information using a Connection Agreement, you can set the attributes to replicate using a policy. By default, all available attributes are replicated.

You can also customize object matching rules. By default, objects are matched by GUID, legacyExchange DN, and primary Windows NT account. If no match is found, or if these objects are unavailable, ADC creates a new object in the directory.

An ADC policy allows you to configure settings that multiple Connection Agreements use.
