An important step in using Active Directory Account Cleanup
Wizard is to review and modify merge operations that the wizard is
ready to perform. Reviewing merge operations, and modifying them if
necessary, is done after you identify duplicate
accounts.
Caution This
should be done before you begin merging accounts in Active
Directory. Once the merge process is complete, you can not undo the
operation.
Use the following guidelines to review and modify merge
operations:
Browse the list of merge operations to see if the correct
accounts are selected; for example, you might want to confirm that
the correct target and source accounts are selected.
Export a list of merge operations in a .csv file for review
outside of the wizard. This allows you to view multiple target and
source accounts and their attributes at the same time. You can also
use the functionality of a .csv application (for example, Microsoft
Excel) to arrange the list of duplicate accounts.
