Import a List of Accounts

After you export or create a list of merge operations with Active Directory Account Cleanup Wizard, you can import that list back to the wizard at a later time. Importing the list back into the wizard allows you to review and modify merge operations before running the merge process.

To import a list of accounts:

  1. On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click Active Directory Cleanup Wizard.
  2. On the Welcome to the Active Directory Account Cleanup Wizard screen, click Next.
  3. On the Identifying Merging Accounts screen, click to clear the Search Entire Directory or Selected Containers check box.
  4. On the Identify Merging Accounts screen, select Import A List Of Merging Accounts, click Browse, and then select the .csv file that you used to save your list of merge operations.
  5. To import the .csv file, click Open, and then click Next. The list of merge operations from the .csv file displays on the Review Merging Accounts screen.
