Manage Exchange 4.x and 5.x servers

Although the configuration of an Exchange 5.5 organization is synchronized with Windows 2000 Active Directory using a Configuration Connection Agreement, you must administer all 4.x and 5.x servers using Exchange Server Administrator. These tasks include managing queues, connectors, address book views, monitors, and so on.

Note   You must use System Manager to manage computers running Exchange 2000.

To manage Exchange 4.x and 5.x servers:

1. Open Exchange Server Administrator.
2. In Exchange Administrator, configure the Exchange settings you need to manage.
