After creating a policy, you add Exchange objects of the same
type to it.
To apply policies to objects:
Start System Manager: On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
System Manager.
Under the organization or administrative group item, click
System Policies. In the Details pane, right-click the
policy you want to modify, and then click Add Public Store
for a public store policy, Add server for a server policy,
or Add mailbox for a mailbox policy.
Select an object from the upper section of the window, click
Add, and then click OK.
In the Microsoft Exchange Administrator dialog box,
which prompts you to verify that you want to add the object to the
policy, click Yes.
If the object is under the control of another policy, another
Microsoft Exchange Administrator dialog box prompts you to
verify whether you want to remove the object from the control of
the other policy. Click Yes.
