Designate a Location for the Meeting Transcript

Finally, you must designate a location for the meeting transcript. You can either accept the default location on the chat server (%systemdrive%\Exchsrvr\ChatData\Transcript), or you can designate a different location. The transcript file is saved to a directory with the same name as the channel.

To change the transcript directory location:

1. Start System Manager
   On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. Navigate to the IRCX folder for the server hosting the chat community where you will be transcribing a private meeting.

   Servers

   1. Server_name
   2. Protocols
   3. IRCX
3. Right-click IRCX, and then click Properties.
4. On the IRCX Properties General tab, click Extensions.
5. In Extensions, verify that the Transcription extension is selected in the window. Click Properties.
6. In Default location, type a new location for the transcript directory (for example, C:\Transcripts).
