Restrict Channel Access to Invited

user to join this type of channel.
To limit access to a to users who are explicitly invited to join the
- Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
- Navigate to the
Channels folder for the chat community where you want to
restrict channel access.
- Click the Channels folder.
- In the Details pane, right-click the channel to be restricted,
and then click Properties, or create a registered channel.
- On the channel's Access tab, under Allow only,
select the Invited users check box.
Note Users who want to join
an invitation-only channel must be explicitly invited. The channel
owner or meeting leader uses the following command from a chat
client to invite each participant:
/INVITE member channelname
