Set Up and Transcribe a Private Meeting

You can use Exchange Chat Service to set up a private online meeting and transcribe all the statements made during the meeting by following the procedures shown here.

To set up a private online meeting and transcribe all the statements made:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to the chat community where you want to hold the meeting.

    Chat Communities

    1. Chat_community_name

    If you need to create a chat community for this purpose and connect it to the server, do so now.

  3. Set up the meeting channel.
  4. Arrange for transcription on the meeting channel.
  5. Designate a location for the meeting transcript.
  6. Give Member and Owner passwords to the person who plans to lead the meeting. Advise that person to distribute the Member password to the meeting participants.

Result

Shortly before the appointed meeting time, the meeting leader will use a chat client to join the channel and invite each participant using the following command:

/INVITE member channel_name
