View Messages with Event Viewer

Check Event Viewer regularly for messages that might indicate problems are occurring with NNTP Service. Every time the service starts and stops, an operator command is processed, or an error is detected, a message is written to the system log in Event Viewer.

To view NNTP messages with Event Viewer:

1. Start Event Viewer
   On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Event Viewer.
2. In the console tree, select System Log.
3. On the View menu, click Filter.
4. In the Event source drop-down menu, click NNTPSVC.
