Create Index
To use full-text indexing, create an index for a database, and
then run a full population to fill the index with data.
To create an index:
- Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
System Manager.
- Navigate to the
database you want to index.

- Administrative Group or
Organization
- Servers
- Storage Group
- Store
- Right-click the database, and then click Create Full-Text
Index.
- To populate the new index, right-click the database, and then
click Start Full Population.
