Log Connector Events

Diagnostic logging for the connectors allows you to record events related to directory synchronization, non-delivery reports (NDRs), inbound and outbound traffic, and other categories. Event messages are written to the Windows 2000 event log. By default, the logging level None is selected for each event category.

To log connector events:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Servers.

    3. Servers
  3. In the console tree, right-click the server on which the connector is installed, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Diagnostics Logging tab.
  5. In Services, select one of the following service short names:
    Short name Service
    LME-NOTES Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes
    LME-GWISE Microsoft Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise
    MSExchangeGWRtr Microsoft Exchange Router for Novell GroupWise
  6. Select one or more event categories per service.
  7. Select one of the following logging levels for each event category:
