Run the Setup program for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server on
Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.
To remove a connector:
On the Windows 2000 Server computer on which you've installed
Exchange 2000, insert the Exchange CD into the CD-ROM drive.
On the Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 splash screen,
click the Setup tab, and then click Exchange Server
Setup to start Microsoft Exchange 2000 Installation
Wizard.
Click Next, and then click Next again to accept
the end-user license agreement.
In the Action column, for Microsoft Exchange
2000, select Custom.
For Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration
Services, select Change.
For any of the following connectors you want to remove, select
Remove:
Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes
Microsoft Exchange Connector for Novell GroupWise
Click Next to confirm your selection, and then complete
the wizard.
Unless the foreign users are migrating to Exchange, using the
Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, delete the users,
contacts, and groups created by the connector during directory
synchronization. In addition, delete the Exchange users on the
other messaging system.
Tip Another way to do this is
to choose an empty export container on Exchange and synchronize it
with the address book or directory on the foreign system you want
to clear; and then choose an empty address book or directory on the
foreign system, and synchronize it with the Exchange import
container you want to clear.
If you do not delete the obsolete entries, when you reinstall a
connector at a later time, the connector will not take ownership of
the entries, and in this way multiple entries for the same user
will be created in Active Directory and the foreign directory.
