Start the API Gateway

When you create the API gateway, the API.ncf batch file is installed on the NetWare Server. Run the batch file to start the gateway.

After the gateway is started, NetWare checks the API_IN directory for messages according to what is configured in the Idle Sleep Duration option of the gateway.

To start the API gateway:

Type API on the NetWare Server Console, and then click Enter. The API gateway should be visible as its own screen on the NetWare server.
