Control the Propagation of Notes Resource Objects to Exchange

During directory synchronization, you can prevent the propagation of Notes resource objects in the Notes directory to the connected Exchange organization. A Notes resource is a physical item that can be reserved for a meeting, such as a conference room, an overhead projector, and so on.

Note   Each time you modify the filter rules, you must restart the Notes connector.

To control the propagation of Notes resource objects:

1. On the Exchange server where the connector is installed, start Regedit.exe.
2. Open the following registry key:

3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\
   
   Services\LME-NOTES\Parameters
   

4. In the navigation tree, right-click Parameters, click New, and then click DWORD Value.
5. In the highlighted field, type ExportResources.
6. Right-click ExportResources, and then click Modify.
7. In Value data, type one of the following numbers, and then click OK.
8. • 0.   Do not export Notes resource objects to Exchange.
   • 1.   Export Notes resource objects to Exchange. This is the default.
   • 2.   Apply the filter for Person documents to Notes resource objects.
