Connecting to Other Messaging Systems

Restrict Message Delivery to Notes

The Notes connector can accept or reject messages from any user, group, or contact in Active Directory who sends a message to a Notes user. Delivery restrictions apply only to messages sent from the Exchange organization to the connected Lotus Notes/Domino server; they do not affect incoming messages from Notes. By default, the connector accepts all messages for delivery.

Important   Before you set delivery restrictions, you must create an address space so that messages destined for Notes users on a particular Lotus Notes/Domino server can be routed through the appropriate connector.

To restrict the delivery of messages to Notes:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Connectors.
