Managing Recipient Settings

Set Recipient Limits

The number of recipients a mailbox-enabled user can send messages to is limited. You can set the maximum number of recipients to the default recipient limit under Global Settings in System Manager, or you can specify the maximum number of recipients the mailbox-enabled user can send messages to.

To specify the maximum number of recipients a mailbox-enabled user can send messages to:

  1. Start Active Directory Users and Computers
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
  2. In the console tree, expand the Windows 2000 domain. Double-click Users, or double-click the node that contains the recipient information you want to modify.
  3. In the details pane, double-click the mailbox-enabled recipient you are modifying.
  4. On the Exchange General tab, click Delivery Options.
  5. In the Delivery Options dialog box, under Recipient limits, click Maximum recipients, and then type a number.
