Managing Recipient Settings

Use the Uuencode Option

Uuencode is an application that converts a binary file into printable 7-bit ASCII characters without loss of information. This allows data, such as images or applications, to be distributed through e-mail or news groups.

If you select UUEncode, you can specify that you support Macintosh clients. To use BinHex, which is an encoding scheme similar to uuencode but is a more common format for Macintosh files, select Use BinHex for Macintosh.

Important   If you select the UUEncode option, you cannot select the MIME option.
