You can grant or deny permissions for mailbox-enabled users. You
can then view permissions for a specific mailbox-enabled user.
Important
Even if both the Allow and Deny check boxes are not
selected for a permission, the group or user may have obtained the
permission through group membership. If the group or user has not
inherited the permission, then the permission is implicitely
denied. If a check box is shaded, the permission is inherited and
must be changed at the level where the permission was set.
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then
click Active Directory Users and Computers.
In Active Directory Users and Computers, on the
View menu, click Advanced Features.
In the console tree, expand the Windows 2000 domain.
Double-click Users, or double-click the node that contains
the recipient information you want to modify.
In the details pane, double-click the mailbox-enabled user you
are modifying.
On the Exchange Advanced tab, click Mailbox
Rights.
To view permissions for a user or group, in the
Permissions dialog box, under Name, select a user or
group.
