Specify Connection Schedules

The Schedule tab allows you to specify when and how often an X.400 connector initiates a connection to the remote X.400 system. This schedule defines only the frequency of connections the local routing group initiates, and not frequency of connections originating from another routing group or foreign X.400 system.

To specify connection schedules:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Connectors.

  3. Right-click a connector, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the Schedule tab, and then click Never, Always, Selected times, or Remote initiated to specify this connector's availability.
  5. To specify times when the X.400 connector initiates a connection, click the Selected times option, then highlight the appropriate times on the timetable grid.
