Specify Text Word Wrapping

You can set the maximum line length of text in your messages sent through TCP/IP and X.25 X.400 connectors. By default, there is no limit on line length and message text is not word wrapped.

To specify text word wrapping:

  1. Start System Manager
    on the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Connectors.

  3. Right-click a TCP/IP or X.25 X.400 connector, and then click Properties.
  4. Click the General tab.
  5. In Message text word-wrap, click At Column, and then type the maximum line character count. By default, text is not word wrapped.
