The options on the TCP/IP and X.25 X.400 connector
Override tab enable you to change the default X.400 service
attributes, such as transfer timeouts, when using a specific X.400
connector. Use the override options to establish communication and
manually configure message transfer to a foreign system only when
necessary.
Note Changes to the override
values for one connector do not affect message transfer over any
other connector. If you do not specify override values, the X.400
service uses the default values when connecting to a remote X.400
system.
Right-click a connector, and then click Properties.
Click the Override or MTA Override tab, and then
click Additional Values.
Under Transfer Timeouts, modify the Urgent
(sec/K) value, which is the amount of time in seconds per KB
the system waits before sending an NDR for an urgent message.
Under Transfer Timeouts, modify the Normal
(sec/K) value, which is the amount of time in seconds per
kilobyte the system waits before sending an NDR for a normal
message.
Under Transfer Timeouts, modify the Not urgent
(sec/K) value, which is the amount of time in seconds per
kilobyte the system waits before sending an NDR for a non-urgent
message.
Tip To restore Exchange
default values, click Reset Default Value.
