Migrating to Exchange

Command Line Reference

You can use the command-line utility, Mailmig.exe, and a combination of switches and a control file to perform a batch-process migration.

Syntax

Mailmig [/C:File [/A:Account] [/P:Password] [/S]] [/?/h/help]

Switches

The command-line switches are given in the following table.

Switch Description
/C:File The location of the control file. The control file is a text file containing parameters and their values, which are separated by commas.
/A:Account The administrator account name for a Microsoft Mail for PC Networks or Novell GroupWise post office, or an LDAP or IMAP server. For a Lotus Notes migration, Account is the path to the Notes ID file used for migration. This switch is not necessary for migration file import or for Lotus cc:Mail or Collabra Share migration. For Exchange migration, type the name of an account that has administrative privileges for the mailboxes that you are migrating.
/P:Password The password for the administrator account on the Microsoft Mail for PC Networks, Lotus cc:Mail, or Lotus Notes post office; for Exchange, the LDAP or IMAP server; or the Novell GroupWise migration ID. The password is not necessary for migration file import.
/S Silent mode. No error dialogs are displayed. All errors are written to the Event Log.
/?/h/help Displays Help text.
