Migrate from Internet Directories

You can migrate Internet directories to Active Directory in a single step.

Note   The Internet directory information must be LDAP-compliant.

To migrate from an Internet post office:

1. Start Migration Wizard
   On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click Migration Wizard.
2. Read the informational screen, and then click Next.
3. Click Migrate from Internet Directory (LDAP via ADSI).
4. Click One step migration (recommended) to migrate in a single step, and then follow the rest of the wizard's instructions.

   Note   If you want to edit the user list file, you must click Two step migration. Use the user list file to define the directory of an Internet (IMAP-based) messaging system.
