Upgrade to the Microsoft Outlook Client

As part of your migration plan, it may make sense for users to upgrade to Outlook from their current mail client.

You can do this before migration, or during a multi-phased migration, you can move users to the new client while they are still on the Microsoft Mail postoffice. Microsoft Mail postoffice users can benefit from new features such as rich-text formatting, automatic signatures, and views. In addition, your users will work with a consistent user interface, whether they have migrated or not.

To use Outlook running on Windows as a Microsoft Mail client, each user must add the Microsoft Mail information service to his or her Outlook profile.
