Segment Outlook Web Access by Server
Some Exchange organizations may want to enable or disable certain components of Outlook Web Access. For example, it is possible for Outlook Web Access users to send and receive email, but not be able to view or configure their calendars or contact information. Using the bitmask table below, you can turn off and on any combination of Outlook Web Access features.
Warning Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Add and Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" Help topics in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it, and you should also update your Emergency Repair Disk (ERD).
To segment Outlook Web Access functionality in your organization:
Note This procedure describes how to segment Outlook Web Access for all mailboxes on a computer running Exchange server. Segmenting can also be done on a per-user basis, see Segment Outlook Web Access.
