To ensure that a folder is not overloaded with messages, you can
set the maximum message size and specify the users whose mail will
be accepted by this folder. These options are available only for
mail-enabled folders.
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click
System Manager.
If administrative groups are displayed, expand
Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to
work with.
In the console tree, expand Folders, and then expand the
folder tree containing the folder you want.
Right-click a mail-enabled folder, and then click
Properties.
On the Exchange General tab, click Delivery
Restrictions.
In Outgoing Message Size, click Maximum KB, and
then type a number from 1 to 2097151.
In Incoming Message Size, click Maximum KB, and
then type a number from 1 to 2097151.
In Message restrictions, you can create a list of users
from whom the folder will accept mail. Select Only from, and
then click Add. Select a user name, and then click
Add. Continue adding users until all users that you want to
add are listed.
In Message restrictions, you can create a list of users
from whom the folder will not accept mail. Select From everyone
except, and then click Add. Select a user name, and then
click Add. Continue adding users until all users that you
want to add are listed.
