Managing Public Folders

Move Public Folders

You can move a public folder to a new location within the same folder tree by cutting and pasting. You can also copy the folder or move a group of folders within a folder tree; however, you cannot move, copy, or paste a folder from one public folder tree to another.

To move a public folder:

On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. If administrative groups are displayed, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with.
  3. In the console tree, expand Folders, and then expand the folder tree containing the folder you want to move.
  4. Right-click the folder, and then click Cut.
  5. Click the folder that you want to move the original folder to.
  6. Right-click the details pane, and then click Paste.
