Managing Public Folders

Name the Folder

To create a new public folder, you must name the folder. Once you have created the folder, you can configure it to work within your folder hierarchies.

To name the folder:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. If administrative groups are displayed, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with.
  3. In the console tree, expand Folders.
  4. Right-click the root of the folder hierarchy, point to New, and then click Public Folder.
  5. Type a name for the folder.
