Remove a Replica

Exchange allows you to customize the list of folders that are replicated on alternate servers. If you do not want a folder to be replicated on an alternate server, remove the server from the list on the folder's Replication tab.

To remove a replica:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. If administrative groups are displayed, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with.
  3. In the console tree, expand Folders, and then expand the folder hierarchy for which you just created a store.
  4. Right-click a folder, and then click Properties.
  5. On the Replication tab, select the server on which you do not want to maintain a copy of the folder, and then click Remove.
