Managing Public Folders

Schedule Replication for all Folders in a Public Store

If all public folders are used with the same frequency, you can create one replication schedule for all folders. After you set the schedule on the database in the public store, all folders set to Default Schedule replicate according to the database's schedule. All folders use the schedule set on the database by default.

To schedule replication for all folders in a database:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. If administrative groups are displayed, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with.
  3. In the console tree, expand Folders, and then expand the folder hierarchy for which you just created a store.
  4. Right-click a folder, and then click Properties.
  5. Click the Replication tab.
  6. In Public Folder to replicate choose a replication schedule or create a new schedule. To create a new schedule, click Customize. In the Schedule window, click Selected Times. Click the time on the grid to specify when replication of this folder will take place. Click OK to save your settings.
