Configure Replication Settings

A public folder can be configured to have replicas on multiple public folder servers.

To create replicas of public folders:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. If administrative groups are displayed, expand Administrative Groups, and then expand the group you want to work with.
  3. In the console tree, expand Folders.
  4. Right-click the folder to replicate, and then click Properties.
  5. Click the Replication tab.
  6. To add a copy of the folder's database to another server's store, click Add. Select a store on the server that you want to replicate the folder to, and then click OK.
  7. In Public folder replication interval, choose a replication schedule or create a new schedule. To create a new schedule, click Customize. In the Schedule window, click Selected Times. Click the time on the grid to specify when replication of this folder will take place. Click OK to save your settings.
  8. In Replication message priority, set the priority level of the message.


  9. Note   A message sent with urgent priority is delivered first.
