Queue Viewer

View a Queue Summary

When you click Queues in System Manager, the display panel will list every queue on that SMTP virtual server, X.400 object, or connector. The display consists of the name of the queues and columns of descriptive information for each one.

To display SMTP virtual server, X.400, or connector queues :

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to Queues and click Queues.

    For SMTP queues

    1. Servers
    2. Server
    3. Protocols
    4. SMTP
    5. SMTP virtual servers
    6. SMTP virtual server
    7. Queues
    or

    For X.400 queues

    1. Servers
    2. Server
    3. Protocols
    4. X.400
    5. Queues
    or

    For MAPI (connector) queues

    1. Connectors
    2. connector
    3. Queues
  3. The details pane displays all queues on the SMTP virtual server, X.400 object, or connector.

    Note   You can sort the queues in the display pane by clicking the column headers.

Tip   To display the information in an alternative format, right-click a queue, and then click Properties. This will open the Properties dialog box for the queue.
