Re-Enumerate Messages

The Re-enumerate command refreshes the messages that you are currently viewing in the details pane and provides you with the most current data.

If you use Custom Filter to enumerate the 10 largest messages in a queue, for example, it is possible that after a certain amount of time, larger messages will enter the queue. You can periodically use the Re-enumerate command to refresh your message pool. Re-enumerating refreshes your message pool with the last criteria used.

To re-enumerate the messages in a queue that you have already enumerated:

  1. Start System Manager
On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. Navigate to the desired queue.
