Choose an Enrollment Method

When you are ready to enroll users in KMS, you have the option of individual or bulk enrollment. Through either method, the users you enroll will receive an enrollment token. Those users can then navigate the security options of Outlook and select Set up Security for me on the Exchange Server, at which point the users will be prompted to type in their token. This completes the users enrollment in KMS.

To enroll users in KMS:

  1. Start System Manager
    On the Start menu, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
  2. In console tree, click Advanced Security.
  3. In the detail pane, right-click Key Manager, point to All Tasks, and then click Enroll Users.
  4. In the Key Management Service Login dialog box, type your password, and then click OK. The default password is password.

    Note   You will have to re-type your password each time you try to perform a task or click a tab in the Key Manager Properties dialog box.
