Change the Default Startup
Setting
You can use Windows 2000 Services to configure the default state
of your SMTP virtual servers at startup.
To change the default startup setting:
- Start Services
On the Start menu, point to
Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then
click Services.
- In the console tree, click Services (Local).
- In the details pane, right-click Simple Mail Transport
Protocol (SMTP), and then click Properties.
- On the General tab, next to Startup type, click
Automatic, Manual, or Disabled.
