You administer Exchange using the Microsoft Management Console
(MMC) snap-ins System Manager and Computer Management. You use
additional MMC snap-ins for specific objects.

Author mode. By default, System Manager is not saved in Author
mode.

In Snap-ins added to, select an item in the console tree
to which to add the snap-in, and then click Add.
Click an Exchange snap-in, and then click Add. Depending
on the snap-in, you may be given the option to change domain
controllers.
