Public Folders

Public folders store messages or information in a central location that can be shared with all designated users in your organization. Public folders can contain different types of information, from simple messages to multimedia clips and custom forms. All public folders and their contents reside in Information Store.

You may experience specific problems when managing public folders; for example, you may be unable to successfully replicate public folders between Exchange organizations, or your users may report that they are unable to publish a form in the organizational forms library.
