Tracing has been enabled on the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service for all users

The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool reads the registry to determine whether the Enable Tracing entry is present under:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSexchangeIS\ParametersSystem

If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds the Enable Tracing registry value present and configured, a warning is displayed.

The Enable Tracing DWORD registry value enables tracing for the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service. Tracing is used in troubleshooting store startup issues and can severely affect performance. Unless you are troubleshooting a problem, this registry setting should not be used. Tracing can be enabled for specific users by adding the Trace User LegacyDN registry string value. If this value is not present, it means that tracing is enabled for all users.

If troubleshooting is not being performed on the Exchange Server computer, this value should not be present.

To correct this warning

Open a registry editor, such as Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe
Navigate to: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\ParametersSystem
Delete the Enable Tracing registry value.
Close the registry editor and restart the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service for the change to take effect.
