The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool reads the following registry entry to determine its current value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeMTA\Parameters\DB file handles
If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds the value for DB file handles present and set to anything other than 192, a non-default configuration message is displayed.
The DB file handles value is the number of database server file handles that are configured. This determines the maximum number of database files that can be open concurrently. If more open files are required than the configured value, database objects are copied to disk.

To correct this
error

Open a registry editor, such as Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe.

Navigate to: HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeMTA\Parameters

In the right pane, locate and double-click the DB file handles value.

In the Value data field, enter 192 and click OK.

Exit the registry editor and restart the Microsoft Exchange MTA Stacks service for the change to take effect.
