The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool displayed this warning because there are sites in the Active Directory directory service forest that do not have at least one global catalog server that is running on Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or a later version.

Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 setup requires each Active Directory site that will host a server that is running Exchange 2007 to have at least one global catalog server that is running on Windows Server 2003 SP1 or a later version.

To address this issue, upgrade at least one global catalog server in each Active Directory site to Windows Server 2003 SP1 or a later version.

For more information about how to upgrade to Windows Server 2003, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article 810613, "Supported paths for upgrading to Windows Server 2003 or to Windows Small Business Server 2003" (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=3052&kbid=810613).

To obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003, see the Windows Server TechCenter (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=45315).
