The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the Active Directory® directory service to determine the number of routing groups in the Exchange Server organization. The Exchange Server Analyzer also queries Active Directory to determine the number of Active Directory sites that have Exchange servers that are running Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
The Exchange Server Analyzer categorizes the Exchange organization as a large Exchange organization if the following conditions are true:
- There are more than 5 routing groups in the Exchange
organization.
- Servers that are running Exchange 2000 or
Exchange 2003 are installed on more than
5 Active Directory sites.
