The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool reads the following registry key to determine whether the Exchange server includes the Extensible Storage Engine (ESE) extended counters in its library of performance counters:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\ESE\Performance\Show Advanced Counters

If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds that the data value of the Show Advanced Counters registry key is 1, the Exchange Server Analyzer displays a non-default configuration message.

The Exchange Server Analyzer reports this configuration for informational purposes only. No action is required.
