The Microsoft® Exchange Server Analyzer Tool queries the CIM_Datafile Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) class for the presence of an MSExchange.UCEContentFilter.xml file on the Exchange server. If the Exchange Server Analyzer finds an MSExchange.UCEContentFilter.xml file on the Exchange server, the Exchange Server Analyzer displays a non-default configuration message. No remedial action is required.
The MSExchange.UCEContentFilter.xml file is a component of the custom weighting feature in Intelligent Message Filter for Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
The custom weighting feature in Intelligent Message Filter for SP2 lets administrators customize the behavior of Intelligent Message Filter, based on phrases that are within the body of an e-mail message, the subject line, or both. There is no user interface associated with the custom weighting feature. Custom weighting is made available in the form of an XML configuration file, MSExchange.UCEContentFilter.xml, that is read by Intelligent Message Filter upon initialization, and then reloaded any time the file changes. If the MSExchange.UCEContentFilter.xml file is not present when Intelligent Message Filter is started, you must restart the SMTP service. The MSExchange.UceContentFilter.xml custom weighting file should be located in the same directory as the MSExchange.UceContentFilter.dll and .dat files.
For more information about the custom weighting file, see the Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 Release Notes. The release notes for Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 are available both on the CD for SP2 and at the Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 Release Notes Web site (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52072).
