Use the Sender Reputation feature to enable or disable sender reputation functionality for the local computer and to access the properties pages for sender reputation.

Sender reputation continuously monitors senders and their past SMTP interactions, such as the amount of spam and non-spam messages that a sender has sent. Sender reputation relies on such data about the sender to determine what action, if any, to take on an inbound message. Sender reputation functionality is also known as "protocol analysis."

Enable or Disable

To enable or disable sender reputation, in the action pane, click Enable or Disable as appropriate.

Properties

To view the current sender reputation information and to manage the Sender Reputation feature, in the action pane, click Properties. For detailed steps about configuring sender reputation, see Configure Sender Reputation Properties.
