Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policies let you apply a common set of policies or security settings to a user or a group of users.

Click the name of the Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy in the Result pane to select it. After you've selected a policy, you can use the Action pane to perform several different operations on that Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy.

When you select an address list, the following actions are available either by right-clicking the address list name or by using the Action pane.

To focus on a set of items in the result pane that have specific attributes, you can use a variety of expressions to filter the list. For more information about filters, see Filter the Result Pane.

Set as Default

Click Set as Default to set the Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy that's currently selected as the default policy. There can be only one default policy for every Exchange organization. The default policy is automatically applied to users as they're created. Set as Default will only be visible if you've created more than one Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy.

Click Remove to delete the selected Exchange ActiveSync mailbox policy.
