Receive connectors are configured on computers running Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 with the Hub Transport server or Edge Transport server roles installed. The Receive connector represents a logical gateway through which inbound messages are received.

The following specific actions are available when you select a Receive connector:

Enable

To enable the Receive connector, click Enable.

Disable

To disable the Receive connector, click Disable.

Remove

To remove the Receive connector, click Remove.

Properties

To view or configure the properties of a Receive connector, select the Receive connector from the list of Receive connectors, and then click Properties. For more information about configuring Receive connectors, see Configure Receive Connector Properties.
