Organization relationships are a part of federated sharing with another federated organization that enable the sharing of calendar free/busy information between users in both organizations. Organization relationships are one-to-one relationships between two organizations, not between individuals on a case-by-case basis. Rather than requiring a complex Active Directory forest or domain trust configuration between the two organizations, both organizations are required to establish only a federation trust with the Microsoft Federation Gateway and to configure their federated organization identifier prior to configuring the organization relationship with each other.
The following topics will help you configure and manage organization relationships as a part of federated sharing for your organization:
Create an Organization Relationship
Modify an Organization Relationship
Remove an Organization Relationship
