Use the Enable-DistributionGroup command to mail-enable an existing universal group.

Detailed Description
Members of a universal group can include other groups and accounts from any domain in the domain tree or forest and can be granted permissions in any domain in the domain tree or forest. To mail-enable an existing universal group in the Active Directory directory service, you can use the Enable-DistributionGroup cmdlet.
To run the Enable-DistributionGroup cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
- Exchange Recipient Administrator role
