Use the New Public Folder page of the New Public Folder wizard to create a new public folder and to set the path of the public folder. This wizard collects only the required information to create a public folder. After the public folder is created, you can configure the public folder settings. For more information about how to configure the settings of a public folder, see How to View or Configure the Settings of Public Folders.
|You can also use the Exchange Management Shell to create a public folder. For more information, see New-PublicFolder.|
Use this text box to create the display name for the new public folder.
This read-only box displays the path to the parent public folder.
If this box displays a backslash (\),the public folder that you are creating will be a top-level public folder.
To create a child public folder, you must select a parent public folder from the public folder tree in the Public Folder Management Console, and then click New Public Folder in the action pane.
